i did a series of four paintings called "been out of work since the 80's"
it involves the "teenage mutant ninja turtles" and it focuses on the the ninja turtles as adults and no longer "teenagers" and how there skill of a turtle ninja is no longer needed and they are out of work....

it was mostly a narrative about the rate of unemployment and the countless skilled workers who are jobless except its ninja turtles how awsome, but i created a back story for each here's lenardo's:

After 1987 leonardo found himself like his brothers homeless for some time but found comfort in birds. A passtime turned into a career as leonardo got a degree in ornithology or the study of birds. since then he has written many books and still finds comfort in his feathered friends. he is often seen as the more successfull one among his brothers.

i was thinking about that, i might do it on a much larger canvass, and they will all be old, dont know how to make old turtles but i will figure it out. but yeah i think that will a good way to end the series.
